Sales & Marketing Conference 2018

In order to strategize, and set direction for future sales planning, the first Sales & Marketing Conference; a spin-off from the annual Business Planning Workshop, was held from 2 – 4 Aug., 2018, at the Executive Club, Interloop Industrial Park, Faisalabad.

The company’s top management, representatives from global teams and marketing & merchandising team leaders & team members got together to effectively review the state of current business, global market trends, challenges and opportunities, flashback of big wins and missed opportunities and sales, merchandizing & marketing practices, to manage short and long term objectives towards achieving Vision 2020.
The first day started with Heads of all four Sales & Merchandizing Divisions; Muhammad Bilal, Muhammad Shahzad, Akmal Naseem & Navid A. Khan delivering intriguing presentations about sales results, progress, achievements & existing opportunities for 2018 and sales forecast for 2019. Abdul Wahab, Manager Research & Innovation presented about the new innovative products and improved processes. Fauz ul Azeem, Sr. Manager, Corporate Sustainability & Strategic Management highlighted details of sustainability milestones achieved by Interloop to apprise the audience about company’s progression as an Ethical and Sustainable Organization.

The second day, spanned full-day working in focus groups; brainstorming & strategizing for achieving next year’s sales targets through risk assessment of challenges, alignment and optimal use of existing resources, anticipating expected business opportunities and developing action plans to realize those opportunities.

As part of the conference, a spectacular exhibition of Interloop’s complete product range comprising different designs, styles and colors was showcased for the conference participants and Interloop executives on the 2nd and 3rd of Aug.

On the third & final day of the workshop, the focus groups presented their strategies and action plans to the top management who meticulously analyzed them and provided feedback. Healthy discussion and constructive criticism was conceded on multiple points. The COO Interloop Limited concluded the conference with his closing note and appreciated participation of sales & merchandizing teams and global representatives and acknowledged the good work put in by the organizing team.
