Tajik Textile and Clothing Companies visits Interloop Limited

On 16 March 2019, a delegation of Tajik Textile & Clothing (T&C) along with USAID Officials visited Interloop Limited Plant-4 in Faisalabad. The delegation was led by ITC Tajikistan Programme Head and included manufacturers, exporters/traders, T&C related universities, Association of Private Sector Development and Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan.

The core objectives of the visit were to get exposure to the textile value chain, use of technology, manufacturing practices, establish business contacts, and explore the possibility of sourcing material and retail environment. Sr. Management who initially introduced the guests with the company’s corporate documentary and one to one discussion welcomed them. Navid Fazil, CEO Interloop Limited shared his thoughts with the young fellows about the various aspects of the company. Later guests were shown knit to pack manufacturing areas of Plant 4, they were amazed by the processes and technologies being used at Interloop. They also visited Interloop Distribution Center, Quality Assurance and Product Development Labs, where they were introduced with the latest equipment and techniques being used to meet quality standards. In the end, Salman Farooq, Regional Trade Promotion Advisor of Pakistan Regional Economic Integration Activity appreciated Interloop management for organizing this enlightening visit.
