LEEDING Into The Future – Interloop Hosiery Plant 5 LEED GOLD Certified

We’re excited to share that Interloop’s Hosiery Plant 5 is now #LEED Gold certified by U.S. Green Building Council. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) Gold status is another milestone in Interloop’s sustainability journey and is truly reflective of our core values – People, Planet, and Prosperity.

Following in the footsteps of our other LEED facilities, Plant 5 has been designed with a lean mindset as an environmentally conscious and resource-efficient plant. Its entire manufacturing process of ~300,000 is certified under LEED v4 – the most advanced and transparent version so far.

The building design incorporates various innovative measures to improve its water efficiency, save energy, reduce carbon emissions and recycle waste while ensuring a safe and healthy environment for its workers.
