Interloop Cricket Tournament 2022

The company’s urge to provide physical and mental well-being and entertainment for its employees led to organizing the 13th Interloop cricket tournament. The event was held from 21st Nov to 25th Nov at Bohran wali ground, Faisalabad. Sixteen teams from all business groups, including Apparel, Denim, Spinning, Active ware, and Hosiery, participated in this event. In these five days, The tournament comprised 31 matches.

The Chairman sports committee, Mr. Saeed Ahmad, inaugurated the event, whereas a large audience, including VPs/HODs, witnessed the exciting matches and cheered the teams. Sports committee members and Admin supporting staff organized this event in a very disciplined and proficient manner. It is the first time that live streaming, including scores and data analysis, was provided for the viewer on their computer and mobile screens. More than 17,000 persons viewed the live videos, and over 3500 visited the live scoreboard. Floodlights, fine-looking uniforms of players, the excitement of spectators, and thrilling matches have formed an atmosphere of ecstasy.

CEO Mr. Navid Fazil graced the final day as chief guest. Mr. Kamran Akhtar and, Mr. Saqib Jamil (HODs S&M), Mr. Adeel Tahir (Plant head P2) were special guests at the event. The Finals were between Plant 5 looper Kings and Plant 2 hawks. After a thrilling match, Plant5 looper kings won the tournament. Many employees and their families enjoyed the games and supported their favorite teams on the grand finale day. Floodlights, fine-looking players’ uniforms, spectators’ excitement, and thrilling matches have created an ecstasy atmosphere. CEO awarded cash prizes and trophies to winners, runners-up, and best performers. He appreciated the efforts of the teams and congratulated the winners. He also admired the spectacular arrangements by the Interloop Sports committee and supporting staff.
