The Ambassador of Japan visits Interloop

H.E. Mr. MITSUHIRO WADA Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan visited Interloop Industrial Park Faisalabad on 9th November 2022 and met Interloop Limiteds leadership including Mr. Musadaq Zulqarnain Chairman; Mr. Henry Harrada VP Interloop Japan; Mr. Kamran Akhtar GM Marketing & Mr. Humayun J. Khan GM Communications Interloop Limited. H. E. was accompanied by his wife Mrs. NAOKO WADA; Mr. TADAYOSHI HIRAKI Commercial attaché; Mr. KOSUKE TAHARA First Secretary at the Embassy of Japan; and Mr. AAMIR H. SHIRAZI President Atlas Group & Honorary Consul General of Japan at Lahore.

The Japanese Ambassador and delegation were briefed about Interloops diverse business portfolio including apparel & textile manufacturing businesses under Interloop Limited and Interloops nontextile businesses under Interloop Holdings. They were apprised about Interloops ESG strategy based on triple bottom line and alignment with UN SDGs. The Ambassador took keen interest in Interloops DE&I policies and Climate Action initiatives and greatly appreciated Interloops progress towards building a sustainable ecosystem for all stakeholders. The Japanese delegation also visited Hosiery Plant 4 which is the first LEED Gold certified socks manufacturing facility in the region and witnessed modern infrastructure and machines sustainability driven digitized operations and the scale of production at Interloop.
