Target Corporation, Minneapolis, MN, operates more than 1,800 stores throughout the United States and has been working with Interloop Limited since 2015. On 26 March, 2018, Chris Vierig, Senior Sourcing Manager, Target USA; Jinni Shi, Category Manager Hosiery, Target Office China and Ovaiz Fazal, Market Representative Target Office Pakistan were welcomed at Texlan Center, Interloop’s Sri Lankan affiliate, by Musadaq Zulqarnain, CEO Interloop Limited; Shelley Rider, President & Brian Ullmann, Sales Director Key Accounts, Interloop North America; Aqeel Ahmed, AVP Hosiery Operations Interloop Limited and Irfan Nazir, Plant Head, Texlan Center.

The purpose of Target team’s visit was to gain better understanding of Interloop’s management philosophy and best practices based on Lean manufacturing principles. The Plant Head briefed the visitors about the company, and showed them Knit-to-Pack operations. The Target team was fascinated by Interloop’s Lean implementation procedures and the reputation Interloop has earned in the International market over the years. Interloop Team thanked the delegates for visiting Texlan Center and looks forward to a healthy business relationship between both organizations.
