Texlan Center also welcomed the New Year’s dawn with tons of celebrations associated with the customs and traditions of Sri Lanka, like boiling of milk in which milk overflowing towards an auspicious direction is usually referred to prosperity and good fortune and lighting of the oil to dispel darkness Following these rituals is believed to ensure that the New Year would be filled with peace, happiness & prosperity. At the table, milk rice with pickle, banana, and sweets like “Kevum”, “Kokis”, Cake and rolls and many other delicacies on the naturally decorated table become the center piece among employees of Texlan. Finally, New Year Wishes and speech of the Plant Head welcomed the entire Texlan Team.
