9th Interloop Cricket Tournament – 2016

A tradition of providing employees with physical and mental growth and entertainment led to the 9th Interloop cricket tournament which was played from 16th October to 23rd October at Bohranwali Ground. This tournament comprised of 15 teams and 21 pool matches with 7 overs each. The teams battled hard to win the contest.

On the final day, Zain Sadiq, Executive Director Interloop Limited inaugurated the event celebrations and witnessed thrilling encounter. Other guests included Ahmed Riza Siddiqi, Executive Director, Latif Zeb GM Ops HD-II, Fareha Zafar, DGM OD, Ghulam Mohyu Din, DGM Taxation, Shahid Hamid, GM HR & Admin, Ghulam Qasim Shaheen, DGM EHS and Masood ur Rehman, GM Finance, who cheered up for the teams along with the audience. Before the final match, a friendly match was played between Star Eleven led by Latif Zeb, GM Ops HD-II and Satellite led by Khurram Shahzad, Sr. Officer SCL and it was won by Satellite team. The final was played between the teams of Knitting & Toe Closing HD-I and Finishing Processing HD-II whereas it was won by Knitting & Toe Closing. Trophies and cash prizes for Man of the Match, Best Bowler and Best Player of the tournament was given to Muhammad Naeem from Finishing Processing HD-II, and runners up team while team of HD-III was awarded best Kit award.
